Is ABA right for us?

You know your child best. Let's find answers together.

Noticed something and not sure what it means? Many parents start exactly where you are. Here are a few gentle first steps.

Signs some parents notice

Every child is different. These are common signs.

Seeing one or more of these doesn't mean your child needs ABA therapy, and a screener isn't a diagnosis. But if any feel familiar, it's worth a conversation.

Few or no words by 16 months
Not responding to their name
Limited eye contact or shared smiles
Few gestures like pointing or waving
Repeating movements or lining up toys
Strong reactions to sounds, textures or change
Losing words or skills they once had
Prefers to play alone most of the time

Our 6-month promise

Real growth takes time. We’re in it together.

Every child blooms at their own pace, and the biggest breakthroughs come from steady, consistent care. That’s why we ask each family for a minimum 6-month commitment to attend ABA therapy at MNTCI. It gives your child time to feel safe, gives our team time to truly know them, and gives your family the chance to see the wins add up.

Months 1–2

Getting to know each other.

Your child settles in, learns our routines, and builds trust with the people who will cheer them on every day.

Months 3–4

Building skills, step by step.

With trust in place, learning takes off. You practice new skills with us in family training so they grow at home too.

Month 6

Celebrating progress together.

We sit down as a team, look back at how far your child has come, and set the next goals side by side.

Free screening tools

Two free tools to start with.

M-CHAT-R/F

A short, free questionnaire for toddlers 16 to 30 months. Parents answer 20 yes-or-no questions online at mchatscreen.com. Share your results with your child's doctor and with us.

CAST

CAST is a parent questionnaire for children about 4 to 11 years old. Bring your answers to your child's doctor or to our team to talk through next steps.

Whatever you find, we're here.

Call us with your questions. We'll listen, explain your options, and help your family take the next step.
